 Powerbond Race Performance Balancer The POWERBOND Race Series brings the advantages of bonded balancers to high revving race and street/race applications where an SFI approved balancer is required. Every Race Series POWERBOND balancer features a precision CNC machined AUSI 1045 forged steel hub bonded to an equally strong steel inertia ring. The steel inertia ring of the Race Series models is positively protected against forward and backward movement and has the assurance of bonded rubber to eliminate spinning. Every model has easy to read computer etched timing marks. The first is the teaser name, but the second is the reality. This is a Coupe version of the VW Golf and will come complete with a proper hybrid system and will sit above the Scirocco in the Volkswagen range.
International Transport Design Forum 2008
Fri, 01 Aug 2008The biennial International Transportation Design Forum at Pforzheim University in Germany took place on July 10, with five international design schools coming together to present and discuss the latest work of their students. Held this year at the Congress Center Pforzheim, the Design Forum was held in conjunction with the annual summer degree show where Diploma and Masters students presented their graduation work. The event was chaired by Transportation Design Professor James Kelly who welcomed the tutors and their accompanying students to the event.
